Over the past decade, Tom has been at the forefront of innovation within the self-storage sector, pioneering alternative development strategies including drive-thru storage configurations, container-based storage systems, and integrated RV and boat storage solutions. These initiatives align with evolving customer demand and integrate effectively within broader industry ecosystems, including third-party management platforms such as Extra Space Storage.
Operating performance has consistently validated this strategy, with assets demonstrating strong occupancy, durable tenant demand, and stable recurring cash flow supporting the scalability of the SteelCore model.
Tom brings more than three decades of experience building, scaling, and optimizing commercial real estate platforms across multiple markets and economic cycles. His background spans development, brokerage, corporate strategy, and capital markets, providing a comprehensive foundation for executing institutional-grade investment strategies.

• Scaling a regional commercial real estate firm from $10 million to over $250 million in revenue while expanding the organization from 30 to more than 1,500 professionals

He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Missouri and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
